In any production of plush toys, promotional stuffed toys, teddy bears etc. leaving Bamsefabrikken, you can be sure that the product is tested and complies with applicable standards for CE marking. You can be sure, because we test each production and are not content merely with random sampling.

We then attach a small label to confirm that the plush toy is approved and CE marked, anlong with a short cleaning instruction.

This is your opportunity to communicate to your customers and anyone else who receives a plush toy from you that the quality is certified and the plush toy can safely be passed on to the smallest members of the family.

We test the plush toys after the following international standards: 

EN 71-1: Mechanical and physical properties

EN 71-2: Flammability

EN 71-3: Specification for migration of certain elements

CE Marking of Bears
All toys that are sold and distributed in Denmark must be CE marked. This is a requirement adopted by the EU. A CE mark on a product is your guarantee that the product meets the common European minimum requirements for health, safety and environment.

Thorough testing and drawing up test reports
A competent and qualified firm conducts the test of the stuffed toys, and draws up a comprehensive report with test results on the individual test elements.
